Construction Project Manager responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects and key project team members to determine the specifications of the project

  • Plan all construction operations and schedule subcontractors to ensure all deadlines will be met 

  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

  • Allocate and manage resources to ensure availability as needed throughout the construction projects

  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors

  • Estimate costs and manage costs to make sure the project stays within budget

  •  Obtain permits and licenses for construction sites
