Franklin School Apartments is a 12-unit building, owned and operated by River City Housing, offering single-bedroom apartments for income-qualified people over the age of 55. Located in the Clifton area, this building offers a warm, inviting, and secure place for seniors in the community to call home.

Adjacent to United Crescent Hill Ministries Community Center, residents have access to the following:

  • FREE lunch (five days a week)

  • FREE visiting nurse visits (two days per month)

  • Variety of recreational activities daily

  • Food pantry

Originally built in 1892 as the Benjamin Franklin School, this site underwent an historic renovation in 2003-2004.

Project Funding provided by:

Commonwealth Bank & Trust, Historic Tax Credits, Housing Tax Credits, Federal Home Loan Back of Cincinnati, and HUD HOME Funds through Louisville Metro Government.
